LSU women's basketball has won six straight games since dropping its season opener to Colorado in Las Vegas.

It's next biggest test has arrived and it'll put that streak on the line. No. 9 Virginia Tech comes to the Pete Maravich Assembly Centers for a mega top-10 showdown as part of the annual ACC/SEC Challenge as well as a rematch from last season's Final Four Thursday night (8 p.m., ESPN).

The No. 7 Tigers (6-1) have been without star forward Angel Reese and it's unclear if she's rejoined the team leading up to the matchup with the Hokies (5-1), who's only loss this season has been to Caitlin Clark and Iowa.

Elizabeth Kitley and Georgia Amoore continue to pave the way for Virginia Tech, averaging 24 and 17 points per game through six games.

Aneesah Morrow has stepped up of late for the Tigers. She posted 37 points and 16 rebounds in the Tigers' win over Virginia at the Cayman Islands Classic last Saturday.
